About Seger Reef
Seger sits just east of Kuta, with nice views and a couple of warungs on the beach. It's a reef peak with both a right and a left, but the right is the better wave: a quick drop, a short wall for a couple of turns, then it closes out near the inside. The left is slower and shorter. Seger is consistent and handles a range of swell sizes, but mid tide is the safest — too low is shallow, too high gets fat. The paddle out from the beach is easy — just time your entry between sets.
