About Mawi
Mawi sits in a rugged bay west of Kuta. It's an A-frame, but the left is the main event — fast, powerful, and often hollow. On medium swells you get a steep drop into a long, rippable wall; when it gets bigger (6–8 ft) it turns into a mini-Pipeline with heavy barrels. The right is much shorter and mostly closes out, but it can be fun on smaller days. The reef is shallow and the lineup competitive, so we only bring confident surfers here.
