About Ekas
Ekas is our day-trip spot on the eastern side of the peninsula and has two main waves. Inside Ekas is the friendly one — a wide peak that breaks both ways on all tides, with walled-up rights and longer, peeling lefts. Great for beginners and intermediates, with easy drops and plenty of room for turns. Outside Ekas is the bigger, heavier wave for more experienced surfers. The bay works year-round, with peak conditions from April to November. Most surfers catch a boat from Awang harbour across the bay.
